Overview

Customized workshops. We can collaborate with you to assess your organization’s writing needs and create your ideal writing workshop or series of workshops. Or you may choose from among our most popular topics:

  • What’s your point? How to identify your purpose and craft a message to achieve it.
  • Evidence and analysis – add what’s relevant and not what isn’t.
  • Plain English – make it clear and they will read it.
  • Acronyms and jargon – don’t lock your reader out.

Individual coaching. In addition to workshops, or in place of them, we can provide individual, on-site and on-line coaching sessions. When you or your employees email us a writing project, we can make comments directly on that project. Then we can meet in your workplace to go over the project’s strengths and weaknesses and suggest revision strategies to improve the project. This reinforces the workshop strategies introduced earlier.

Corporate style guides. We can further improve your organization’s writing by helping you create a corporate style guide, unifying your company’s writing style and voice. This is an excellent way to solidify the improvements you and your employees make through workshops and coaching.

Writing and editing. When you do not have the time or the staff to do the writing or editing your organization needs, we can be that writer, that editor, for you. We are happy to discuss how we can help you create or polish important written projects.

Our clients credit our programs with inspiring them to improve their writing skills. Each organization is unique, and we will create a program that fits you, your organization or your company. We look forward to bringing purpose, clarity and strong message to your writing.
